Are you looking to learn how to make candles, but don’t know where to go? In this blog post, we will discuss a workshop in Singapore that teaches people how to create their own candles. We will also talk about what it takes to get started as a candle maker!
Tips for beginners:
“When starting off on your own adventure into Candle Making, keep these tips about wicks handy: use only metal tabs for wicking; cut them around 12mm long and trim the ends square so they’re straight – this makes sure there are no holes in the wick; use a wet cotton ball to help press it flat so that when you roll it up, there are no gaps.” Be mindful of safety while making candles.
Things you usually learn in these workshops:
– Candle Making Workshop
– Candle Safety
– Soy Candles
– Scented Candle
– Tea Light Candle
What you get: Participants receive one bag containing soy wax pellets (equal to 100% weight), of wax needed), one jar of wick, two glass jars with lids, essential oils and scents to complete their own unique candle.
The Candle Making Workshop Singapore is suitable for all levels of experience (beginners welcome!) and ages 12+. You will need access to a kitchen stovetop or BBQ that can accommodate at least three pots on an open flame as well as sharp scissors.
Important information: Candle making workshops are held in Singapore only. Candle prices start from $50+ per person with the workshop taking up about four hours of your day.
The Candle Maker’s Studio takes no responsibility if you have allergies or sensitivity towards any ingredients used during the workshop.
